Feb 2012 - On the 19th of this month, Kerstin Noth travelled to the International Dog Show Bourg en Bresse/France with
her beautiful bitch, Yurrugar Diamonds N Dreams. Noxy took all
before her and not only went best of breed from the junior class under
Mr L Pichard, the same judge who awarded Aust Ch Yurrugar Who Shot JR
best puppy in group at the 2011 Royal Canberra Show, but she then went
on to take Best Junior in Group under judge, Mr Thevenon and then Runner Up Best Junior in Show under Mr Dauphin. Congratulations to all involved in "Noxy's" continued success! Pictured below in the junior in group final.
 On
Feb 11th we attended the Bendigo Championship Show. We exhibited three
dogs, Zoe the Manchester Terrier and Reece and Pixie the ETTs. Zoe won an
excellent Best Puppy in Group under Dr E Greenway and Reece was shortlisted for best in group and took out Best Junior in Group under Ms L McRae. We will now be having a few weeks off again :) On
Feb 4th we attended the prestigious Classic Dog Show in Melbourne. After having a little break,
Fame N Glory came back and won an excellent Best Exhibit in Group from
196 entries. Reece seemed very well rested after his break and came
back working and looking better than ever. Thank you Colin for
taking this great moving shot of Reece on the day.
 Jan 2012 - Our
showing year has started well. On New Years Day, we attended the New
Years Day Championship Show. Fame N Glory took best of breed with Next
Top Model going runner up. However, it was to be our Manchester
Terriers' day with Zoe taking out an excellent Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Group (Terrier Group 2nd) from
the minor puppy class. Exactly a week later, on Jan 7th, we ventured
out to the Central Gippsland Kennel Club Championship Show. It was a big day for Team Yurrugar. Our
beautiful youngster Yurrugar Curtain Call aka Callie, took out Best Minor Puppy in Show, and then Zoe gave us a great double by winning Best Puppy in Show as well! "Callie"
is the stunning litter sister to Scene Stealer and is destined to make
the big move overseas, to a wonderful show home, in 2012. We will place
her on our "exports" page at a later date. Callie is pictured below. Photo by Champion Shots.
 Jan
and Feb will be 'light' showing months for us as we wait and watch how
our youngsters progress and give our current show team a bit of a
break. Right now, we are in the exciting process of building a
beautiful new home and setting up, from scratch, a wonderful new 60
acre property, which is around 10 minutes from where we currently are.
Much of our spare time is being poured into this and we hope to be able
to move in in around June. We cannot wait to get in and buy lots of new
furniture!
We have been fortunate enough to receive
invitations to two big Victorian showing events. Fame N Glory has been
invited to compete at the Dogs Victoria night of nights for the 2011
Puppy of the Year final. Reece's many puppy in show awards in 2011
allowed him to qualify for this event. In addition, Next Top Model has
been chosen by the Toy Dog Club of Victoria to compete in their Top Toy
of 2011 competition, which she qualitifed for when she won best of
breed at the 2011 Royal Melbourne Show.
A nice end to 2011 - Team
Yurrugar had an excellent 2011 with many highs. Our year ended at the
Lancefield Kennel Club Championship Show on December 27th, where Fame N
Glory went Best of Breed and our Manchester Terrier, Zoe, took out Best Minor Puppy in Show.
Aust
Ch Yurrugar Fame N
Glory really starred in 2011 and finished off being both the ETT Rising
Star and Top
Show Dog of the Year, according to the Dogzonline Pointscore. Yurrugar
was also the #1 ETT breeder in Australia in this competition, for the
second year running. A wonderful achievement
considering the limited amount of shows we attend. We have decided to
give the pointscore competition a miss in 2012, but we will still
continue to exhibit, breed and promote our dogs professionally and
successfully. We have a few very promising youngsters of various ages
coming along. They are from our wonderful bitches Aust Ch Yurrugar
Supermodel and Saint Lazar's
Relentless (imp USA) and sired by Indiana Jones and Crowning Glory,
and we will, for the first time, place a few show dogs with co owners
across the country. We know these rising stars will be in the very best
of hands and we look forward to hearing how they go. We will have
profiles for these youngsters on the website in good time.
Yurrugar Fame N Glory Helsinki, Finland, Winners Show. December
3rd and 4th 2011. A big well done to Kennel Stonemeadows with Yurrugar
Make Mine Diamonds, who attained the title of HeJW-11 at this
prestigious show. "Amee" is litter sister to Diamonds N Dreams, aka
Noxy, who is having much success in Germany. On the second day of
competition, Yurrugar Fade To Black was the sire of the Best of Breed
winning English Toy Terrier, 10 month old bitch, Great Bernina's
Ilo-Pilleri. Congratulations to all connections! Congratulations Niki
and Envy, aka Yurrugar Green WithNV. Envy was recently awarded the 2011
Agility Dog Club of New South Wales Best Overall Jumping Dog in the
300mm class. This includes dogs from across all levels, from novice to
master. Not bad for a little dog who has only been actually competing
for around 8 weeks! Late October, November shows 2011 - November
27th saw us attend the Sovereign City Kennel Club Championship Show.
Fame Glory won best of breed, with Next Top Model runner up. Reece
then went on to take out a very strong Best Junior in Group under Mrs S Marshall. Our
beautiful 7 month old Manchester Terrier, Zoe, looked a treat and took out a wonderful Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Group (Terrier Group 2nd) from
the minor puppy class. Handled by Jennie, Zoe worked so well. A huge
thank you to judge, Mrs J Weekes.
The
end of October, start of November really was a great time for Team
Yurrugar. On Sunday October 30th, Rosemarie and Roy (Who Shot JR)
attended the Broken Hill Ladies Kennel Club Championship Show where
they were awarded Best Exhibit in Group (Group 1st) and Best Intermediate Exhibit in Show!
A fantastic and well deserved win for this pair. Here in
Victoria, Fame N Glory showed wonderfully at the very prestigious
Victorian Women's Championship Show held on October 31st. From a toy group entry of 265, 12
month old Reece went Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Group (Group 2nd),
from the Australian Bred class, under Mr T Nesbitt from Canada. The
next day, at the Sunbury Canine Club show, Ms P Bruce awarded Reece
best of breed and then again, he went Best Australian Bred in Group
from a full line up of quality, mature dogs. Niki van der Smagt and her
spectacular agility ETT, Yurrugar Green WithNV, also won their novice
jumping event in New South Wales. On
November 5th, in Germany, Kerstin Noth attended the National Dog Show
with 11 month old Yurrugar Diamonds N Dreams (pictured below). "Noxy" received 1st in
the junior class and Best of Breed under well known terrier enthusist,
Mr F Siewert. She then went on to take Best Exhibit in Group (Terrier Group 1st)
under Mr T Jakkel! With this win, she also got the last certificate
needed for her VDH Junior Champion title. A big thank you to these
two very highly esteemed judges for recognising Noxy's qualities. The
next day, November 6th, Kerstin and Noxy travelled to Luxembourg where
Noxy again won the junior class and Best of Breed. Subsequently, she is a Junior
Champion of Luxembourg too. Noxy now carries the titles JuCH VDH and JuCH
Lux.
October shows 2011 -
The weekend of October 15th and 16th was a good one for Yurrugar. At
the Geelong Royal Show, Yurrugar Scene Stealer won Best Baby Puppy in Group. For his first official outing, this boy took it all in his
stride. He was one of two to get a second look for best in show, but
but the end of the day, the batteries had run out in our little guy and
the win went to a lovely, seasoned hound baby. Needless to say, Scene
Stealer slept very well all the way home. In Germany, Kerstin Noth and
Yurrugar Diamonds N Dreams took out an excellent best of breed at the
Dortmund National Dog Show and Niki van der Smagt's agility superstar,
Yurrugar Green WithNV (pictured below) won his novice jumping event and had the fastest
time in not only his class, but over all the classes! Also in October -
We have launched our stunning new website! Our new site has been
designed by the very talented Kacey Yates. If you visit us often,
please be sure to refresh each page just to be sure that you are
getting the most up to date information. Kacey also designed our advert
for the 2012 Dog News Australia diary, see below.
Royal news...Team
Yurrugar had a lovely Royal Melbourne Show. Our little star was
Yurrugar Next Top Model who took best of breed from the puppy class and
then went top 4 best in group puppy. A wonderful achievement for our
kennel at the Southern Hemispheres biggest dog show. Yurrugar
Undisclosed Desires won the reserve bitch CC and went on to take runner
up best of breed. Yurrugar Who Shot JR won the dog CC and Yurrugar Top
Billing the reserve dog CC.

September shows 2011 - On
September 18th, we attended the Yarrawonga Championship Show with Fame
N Glory. He finished off his stint in the puppy class in style by
winning Best Puppy in Show under all breeds judge,
Mrs Stephanie Rickard. A huge thank you to this highly knowledgeable
and esteemed judge for allowing Reece to go out of the puppy class with
a real bang! On September 2nd, Fame N Glory took out Best Puppy in Group at
the East Gippsland Kennel Club Championship Show under Mrs D Besoff. He
made the final two for best puppy in show, but it just wasn't to be his
on this day despite working and looking his usual picture perfect self.
Best of breed English Toy Terrier went to Top Billing with Fame N Glory
standing runner up. In other September news: We
are pleased to welcome to Yurrugar from the USA the wonderful proven
sire and show dog, Am Ch Saint Lazar's Indiana Jones. Indy has sired some lovely stock (including
Saint Lazar's Zorro and India Ink) who are in turn also producing some
very fine dogs. We look forward to having Indy contribute to our
breeding program.

July shows 2011 - On
July 23rd we attended the Lyndhurst Canine Country Club Championship
Show with Fame N Glory. There was an excellent entry in the toy group
of 220 dogs, one of the largest toy group entries for the state so far
this year. We are pleased to say that judge, Mr A Kidd from South
Australia, chose 10 month old Fame N Glory as his Best Exhibit in Group winner.
This follows on from his best in group 2nd win the weekend before. A
huge thank you to Mr Kidd for appreciating "Reece" and to all the other
competitors for showing us their continued support.
Fame
N Glory starred again, this time at the prestigious Melbourne Dog Club
Championship Show on July 16th. As always, he worked picture perfect
and took out a very well deserved Best in Group 2nd under
toy specialist, Mrs J Egan. On the other side of the world in Finland,
Yurrugar Make Mine Diamonds won best of breed puppy both days at the
Oulu International show. A great start to this little beauty queen's
show career!
June shows 2011 - Yurrugar
Next Top Model came up trumps at the Toy Dog Club of Victoria's
Championship Show on June 11th by being awarded the best of breed under
judge, Mr G Doyle from New Zealand. Fame N Glory took the dog CC and
runner up best of breed. Top Billing competed in the Top Toy
competition (for the top toy dog in each breed for 2010) and made the
final 6 under Mrs D Duffin. A very nice achievement. Fame N Glory added
another best of breed and Best Puppy in Group to his
collection of wins at the West Gippsland Kennel Association Inc
Championship Show on June 10th. The weekend before, Fame N Glory
continued on his winning ways by being awarded Best Puppy in Group
at the Western Suburbs All Breeds Kennel Club Championship Show on June
5th. He also again won a very nice best of breed with Yurrugar Next Top
Model claiming the bitch CC and runner up best of breed award.
May shows 2011 -
A very quiet month for Yurrugar. Fame N Glory, pictured below, attended
the Bulla Autumn Extravaganza toward the end of the month and judge,
Mrs G Morison from South Africa, chose "Reece" as one of her best in
group finalists. For a dog of only 8 months of age and in a group that
consisted of over 200 of the best toy dogs that the state has to offer,
this was an excellent placing.
April shows 2011 - Team
Yurrugar had a nice finish to the month of April. Over the Easter long
weekend we attended two shows and Yurrugar Fame N Glory continued to
star. On Good Friday, we attended the Toy Dog Club of Victoria's Open
Show and Reece went through to take out Best Exhibit in Show under judge, Ms S Young. On the Sunday, he backed up his good form by being awarded Best Puppy in Group
at the Easter Festival Championship Show (April 24th). From four shows
since turning six months of age, Reece has won himself four, over 10
point best of breeds. Not to be outdone, our minor puppy bitch,
Yurrugar Next Top Model, has also won four bitch CC's and runner up
best of breed awards in excellent company. Bunyip Championship Show (April 2nd) - Yurrugar
Fame N Glory continues to impress us all. He is maturing into a top
little dog and the results from his first weekend out of the baby puppy
classes speak for themselves. Fame N Glory won the English Toy Terrier best of breed, best minor puppy in group and then Best Minor Puppy in Show under Mr T Horchner. The only toy to win a specials class at this show. The next day, we travelled to the Ovens Valley Kennel Club All Breeds Championship Show where
again Fame N Glory went best of breed. This time he was entered up into
the puppy class and took out best puppy in group and Best Puppy in Show under Mr A Burt. In addition, he was awarded Best in Group 2nd.
The future is looking bright for this truly beautiful dog. Yurrugar
Next Top Model, at her first show out of baby puppy also, went runner
up best of breed over Supermodel, Crowning Glory and Who Shot JR! Go
Pixie! Thank you to all our friends and to the judges for their
continued support and faith in our dogs. The beautiful Supermodel has
officially now been "semi" retired and we look forward to having her
progeny in the show ring later in the year.

March shows 2011 - We would like to congratulate Yurrugar Front Paige News (Denmark) on
gaining her first of three certificates needed to obtain her Danish
Championship title on March 20th. Judge Goran Gladic from Serbia said
of Bonnie, "11 months, correct in type, nice typical head, proportional
and compact in body, with correct bite, with correct pigmentation,
lively in movement, well presented." A lovely win and critique for a
beautiful young bitch. Warragul and District Championship Show (March 14th). Am
Ch Ebet's Risky Business (imp USA) took out best of breed English Toy
Terrier today with young Yurrugar Who Shot JR taking reserve. This
gorgeous little dog also went on to be awarded Best Puppy in Group. Yarra Glen Kennel Club All Breeds Championship Show (March 6th). It was a good day for our dogs with Yurrugar Fame N Glory being awarded Best Baby Puppy in Group under Ms E Joseph and then going on to take out Best Baby Puppy in Show
under Mrs S Rickard. Fame N Glory is a very promising youngster and we
would like to thank the judges on this day for the extremely positive
comments about Reece. Best of breed English Toy Terrier went to Aust Ch
Yurrugar Top Billing. All Yurrugar dogs (with the exception of Black
Diamond, a retired show bitch in SA) are owner/breeder handled and we
are very pleased with the continuing, good results from our small team
based here in Melbourne.
Royal Canberra Championship Show (Feb 26th).
Our stunning young dog, Yurrugar Who Shot JR, took the honors in the
English Toy Terrier classes winning the best of breed. Yurrugar
Undisclosed Desires won the bitch challenge. The next day, on specials
day, judge Mr Pichard from Switzerland awarded Who Shot JR Best Puppy in Group. A
wonderful win for such a promising young dog and our small kennel and

Mr K Johansson from Sweden. We appreciate Mr Johansson's comments about
our dogs after the show and thank him for taking time out to approach
us. Yurrugar Undisclosed Desires won the bitch CC and went on to be
runner up best of breed. Photo of Who Shot JR below by Nicole Rowley.
Aust Ch Yurrugar Supermodel was a final five group finalist from a full line up of quality toy dogs at the big Yarra Ranges Championship Show in Melbourne (Jan 9th)
under Canadian judge, Mr Rick Fehler. She worked and looked amazing and
did not let Team Yurrugar down. Like all of our guys and girls,
Supermodel is just so full of character and is such a pleasure to show.
The day before, we showed Yurrugar Undisclosed Desires and Yurrugar Who
Shot JR only, and it was Undisclosed Desires who took a wonderful best
of breed win under Malasyian judge, Mr Chan Weng Woh. Who Shot JR took
the dog CC and runner up best of breed. Mr Weng Woh later commented on
what a lovely pair the two young ETTs were and that both have very
promising futures.
